Dress Code

The Board would advise that each member is responsible for their own and their guests attire and request members always dress appropriately.

Our “Smart Casual” policy applies at all times unless advertised otherwise. Variations are shown in brackets.

In the clubhouse:

• Allowed:

o clean dry golfwear

o Men's collared shirts tucked into trousers

o tailored shorts, skirts, skorts all of respectable length

o smart sandals with or without socks

• Not allowed:

o muddy or dirty footwear

o wet or muddy clothing

o golfing waterproofs

o track suits

o blue denim jeans

o combat shorts with multiple pockets

o vests or racer back shirts

o tee-shirts (Ladies may wear collarless and sleeveless items) 

o beach wear type flip-flops and clothing

o bare or stockinged feet

o golf shoes

o trainers

o caps/hats

• The Club will not be responsible for the security of any valuables left unattended.

• Prams and pushchairs are not permitted in the lounge or dining room unless approved by the Club House Manager of the day.

• Children under the age of 16 years will not be permitted to remain at the club after 8pm or once any scheduled entertainment commences unless the Social Committee have agreed otherwise.

• Mobile phones must not be used for calls in the lounge, dining room, Robertson bar, or on the course during play (apart from ordering food at the 9th tee), unless there is an emergency.

• Coats and Jackets must be hung in the appropriate area and not on the back of chairs.

On the course:

• Allowed:

o collared polo shirts, golf clothing and golf shoes

o tailored shorts, skirts, skorts of a respectable length

o golf socks of any colour or length (trousers not to be tucked into socks)

o hats & caps facing forward

• Not Allowed:

o vests or racer back shirts

o blue denim jeans

o combat shorts with multiple pockets

o casual shorts

o trainers

Staff have discretion on the above and may refuse entry to those who are not suitably attired.
